Renowned Ghanaian blogger and entrepreneur, Ameyaw Debrah has come under a barrage of criticisms on social media after he posted a content regarding the E-levy in Ghana.
In a video uploaded to his Twitter page, the blogger attempted to either explain or promote the E-levy taxes.
Ghanaian Twitter users opted for the latter option.
With the hashtag #ElevyForDevelopment, the famous blogger asks, “Why the E-Levy?”
According to all indicators, the question leads or prepares video viewers for an attempt to realign Ghanaians’ current perceptions of the E-Levy.
In response to the video, Netizens immediately suspected fraudulent activity and went directly under the comment section to bash him.

Meanwhile, amid the ongoing battle between actress Juliana Olayode and Pastor Timilehin Adigun, Funke Akindele has stressed the power and necessity of silence amid conflicts.
Juliana had gone online to inform her fans that Pastor Timilehin had changed her passwords and taken down her Facebook page.
She also charged him of sexually abusing her sister and pressuring her to stop writing in Jenifa’s journal.
In a three-part video, Pastor Adigun said that the actress arrived to his office frightened because she realized she had harmed him.
The pastor also rejected Olayode’s claims that he abused her sister on his Instagram account.
In the midst of the turmoil, Funke Akindele took to her Instagram account to disclose that the key to dealing with confrontations and navigating problems is ‘Silence.’
She wrote: “You gotta learn to be quiet, even when you have a lot to say”.
