Sensational African female vocalist, Angelique Kidjo surprised many people with how she spoke the Yoruba language during a recent radio interview.
Angelique Kidjo was interviewed in a recent radio interview on Lagos-based FM station, Smooth FM.

Per what we saw, the Grammy winner was heard greeting the staff at the studio in Yoruba.
Asa, who is also a sensational singer was also present at the studio cheerfully hugged Angelique Kidjo.
She was interviewed ahead of her performance in Lagos and she stated that she will be performing live in the Western part of Nigeria for the first time.
She said;
“This is my first time in Lagos… My first time playing in Lagos. The last time I was here was in ’93. I left here at 13 years old.”
