Fans of the Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid are currently over the moon after he linked up with the Amrican star, A$AP Rocky.

One of the few African stars who have been able to break global boundaries is Wizkid. His music brand has been one of the most successful brands in the entertainment fraternity.
He began recording music when he was 11 years old and went on to create a joint album with the Glorious Five, a group he founded with a few of his church buddies. Empire Mates Entertainment signed Wizkid to a record deal in 2009.
With over 3.4 billion listens across all credits, Wizkid was the most-streamed Nigerian artist of all time on Spotify. Wizkid’s Made in Lagos debuted at number one on the Billboard World Album Chart on August 24th. Wizkid released the deluxe edition of his Made in Lagos album on August 27, 2021.
A photo recently surfaced on social media which captured Wizkid hanging out with the award-winning American star, A$AP Rocky and fans have appealed to him for a collaboration. Well, we are yet to know what brought about the hangout as to whether there was a collaboration deal discussed or not.
