Wendy Shay is facing public backlash for the answers she gave to a TV Africa Presenter. The host asked;
“Wendy, ever since you got signed to RuffTown Records, what is that one thing you have gained musically for yourself that you can say I got this camera or I got this carpet…”
Then Wendy Shay replied;
“You mean the material things,” she interjected in a bid to get clarification to the question.
“I’ve got so many stuffs. Too many. Woo. I mean I can actually buy the latest iPhone that is in town right now. I mean I do have a lot of stuffs, camera, iPad, I mean stuffs that every girl at my age is going to need I do have money to buy all of these things,”
Well, many Ghanaians think her response wasn’t spot on, and reacting to all this, Music Producer and Entertainment Pundit, David Kwabena Bolton on Hitz FM, said,
” If Wendy Shay has been in the music business for just a year, do you expect her to buy a house? How old is she? Early twenties? She is doing well in the music industry. I don’t think we should be bashing her. She is working for herself. .
