The National Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has blasted the president Akufo-Addo led government for what he term as has lukewarm and lucklustre attitude towards secessionist group in the Volta Region.
According to Sammy Gyamfi the western togoland secessionist are thriving because Akufo-Addo has been pampering them.

“The reason why their activities have been thriving, festering and spiralling beyond our control is because the Akufo-Addo government has been pampering these criminals. The approach so far has been very lukewarm and lucklustre. It’s like they don’t care. They are not perturbed about what is happening.”he said in a statement sighted by ghgossip.com
The Secessionist group on Friday blocked some major roads leading to Volta Region exchanged gunshots with police officers and left some passengers stranded.
