In an interview on Pulse Ghana, Kwabena Kwabena stated that some of his colleagues in other countries are channelling their energy and talent into creating good music that will sell their countries into the international market and also make money from their music.

However, the artist hammered on the fact that Ghanaians were only interested in petty issues which will not make any positive impact on them individually or the country as a whole. He lamented urging music makers to treat music as a business rather than seeing music as something to do to while away time.
