Controversial Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti has taken a swipe at Nigerian leaders for accusing thugs of hijacking the peaceful #EndSARS protest but don’t say political rallies were hijacked by thugs.
According to him in an interview with Arise TV, some rich and affluent people endorse violence, however, people tend to hail them in other jurisdiction.
“When political rallies turn violent, you don’t hear that thugs have hijacked the election. Rich Nigerians express themselves with violence all the time but we still call them ‘Your Excellency’ and ‘Honorable’ after they throw chairs and tantrums” , he said.
