The name JM Caesar is a name that rings a bell with a resonating sound within the radio fraternity in the Western Region of Ghana and beyond.
JM used to be the host of one the longest running programme on radio, Hiphop Countdown Show on Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM until he applied the brakes three years ago to ‘concentrate on some family commitment.’
His absence obviously created a huge void in that department and apparently has decided to make a comeback to satisfy thousands of his cherished listeners.
So JM Caesar is back on the airwaves to continue from where he left off, having hosted the programme for close to two decades.
Hiphop Countdown Show, is a programme aimed at educating, entertaining and informing the Hi-hop lovers about the current trends in the culture.
The legendary radio presenter, whose real name is Osei Bediako, gave us a cursory look at the new fresh of breath he wants to breathe into the programme.
He said:
“The concentration will be on Hip hop and Rn B. Artistes from the Western and Central Regions would be highlighted in a segment called ‘Unsung Hype’ the reason why people should listen to you.
This will give the chance to people who like Hip hop to know some of the new Artistes from the Western and Central Regions.”
“There are a lot of things that happens in the Western and Central Regions that we don’t hear about so I’m going to put a segment in that is called ‘Around Town.’ Its just 5 minutes to touch on the little little things that are happening” JM Caesar said.
