Ghanaian comedian and actor, Derrick Kobina Bonney, affectionately known as DKB has explained his reason for always retaliating insults and cyberbullies aggressively on social media.

According to the comedian, he has been abused, disrespected, and humiliated by his naysayers on and off social media for a very long time, hence his reason for harshly retaliating their attacks to protect his sanity.
In a tweet, DKB explained that it is very normal for people to fight back when they are being attacked and humiliated within a space because they want to protect their sanity.
He wrote; Sometimes people wonder why, I DKB a comedian, takes things personal and deals with people aggressively. When you are abused, humiliated and disrespected for long, it’s natural to retaliate to protect your sanity. Even doves, peaceful birds, will fight back if U attack them.

In other news, celebrated Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has expressed his frustrations in the lack of a capable and well-equipped movie industry in Ghana.
According to him, most Ghanaian movie producers were businessmen who only had the passion and interest in telling stories by making films, but there was no movie industry to fund and support them in making their films.
Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Forson on Jesus Is The Reason, Majid Michel stated that the introduction of the media and other platforms made it impossible for movie producers to distribute their films, hence the majority of them had to quit.
