The Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture, Madam Catherine Afeku caused an unnecessary stir on social media over the weekend by claiming local champi on

Agya Koo is more popular than John Dumelo.

Her utterances show she’s either bias or ignorant and instantly social media users descended on her to school her properly. Already the minister has goofed on numerous occasions which demonstrate that she’s actually not fit for the position she’s occupying.

Just days ago, the Minister, on Joy FM stated that Sarkodie, is the only artist in Ghana, who monetizes his works – which is very untrue.

During her ‘Meet The Press’ session, she also stated that, social media did not exist in 2004-can you imagine that?

Even when blogger Mustapha Inusah, tired to correct the minister, she vehemently refused to listen, stating that whatever the blogger would say is his opinion and not fact. Perhaps the minster and fans of Agya Koo don’t know the fact so we dug it for them.

John Dumelo was announced just recently as one of the most powerful and influential entertainers in Africa. This was done by a quality research firm, CampsBay Media.

According to them, Dumelo is one of the Top 10 African Entertainers & Footballers with the largest following on Facebook in the ‘African Social Media Power Report 2017.

The Ghanaian icon has fans all over the world whilst Agya Koo is not known beyond Kumasi and the southern cluster of the country, so what’s the minister talking about?
