The reason behind the attack of Nigerian Superstar Davido to the Okojie family has been revealed.
According to a close source, there is a bad blood between Davido and the husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson, Prince Okojie. According to the source, a deal which went bad between these men caused the attack from Davido’s camp.
These bad deal between both parties has been pinpointed as the reason for Davido’s Instagram attack on Mercy Johnson-Okojie and her husband, Prince Odi.
Source Juke Box has relayed information that Davido had collected an amount of N 3 million to perform at the opening ceremony of Prince Odi’s Henod Luxury Hotel, but went on a tour of America.
This got Prince Of furious because Davido couldn’t fulfill his part of the deal although he took the money. Also, efforts to reach Davido and his management failed which made Prince Odi drag the singer to court for breaching the contract.
The issue was however resolved out of court with Prince Odi getting a refund. The bad blood from the deal was what led to Davido’s reaction on social media.
It would be recall that Davido took to his social media page to attack the couples when news broke that Mercy Johnson had given birth. He tagged Mercy and her husband as “wicked people”. He also tagged them “evil set of people”.
