Young Ghanaian musician, Yaw Tog has explained why he has exempted his former music group , the Asakaa Boys from his upcoming album that would be released in November.

According to the rapper, he has no plans in featuring the musicians on his upcoming music project because he does not have the vibe to do so anytime soon.

Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Yaw Tog stated that he has no pending grudges with the music group but he will collaborate with them when he sees the need to do so.

He further explained that music is a feeling, thus if he has a song and feels an artiste would be needed for collaboration, he would gladly do so but since he doesn’t have the feeling to do so, he wouldn’t force himself.

However, he revealed that he has no idea of the group has an issue with him but he would rectify that when he meets them in public.

In other news, celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy has heaped praises on the reggae/dancehall musician, Kojo Kurankye, well known as Ras Kuuku over his “Me Mpaebo” song.

Speaking in an interview with the renowned broadcaster, Doreen Avio on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Ohemaa Mercy stated that “Me Mpaebo” composed by Ras Kuuku is a gospel song and not a secular song.

According to the award-winning gospel crooner, the song is a powerful prayerful song even though it was coming from a reggae/dancehall musician.

She revealed that the one-time Reggae/Dancehall act of the year at the VGMAs was praying to God in his song.

In her own words, she said; “Ras Kuuku’s Me Mpaebo is a gospel song. It is a prayer song. He is praying to God“.
