A statement released by the Ghana Police Service suggests that Josephine Panyin Mensah, the missing but found pregnant lady faked her disappearance and pregnancy as well. A preliminary report from medical officers suggested that the lady in question was never pregnant.

The statement further revealed three others who were believed to have aided in the conspiracy have been arrested for further investigation. However, the husband of the victim came out with videos, showing his wife’s baby bump, trashing claims that she faked her pregnancy.

In reaction to that, Lydia Forson has quizzed as to why authorities are more concerned about her pregnancy instead of her abduction. Taking to the microblogging platform, Lydia Forson said that there are a lot of questions surrounding the disappearance of the lady, describing the case as a bizarre one. She also asked as to why the lady and her husband will go to this extent to deceive the entire nation.

She wrote; Why is her “pregnancy” at the center of the conversation and not the kidnapping. This story is bizarre, too many questions, not enough answers and a lot of hasty conclusions. Why would they go through such lengths; to what end? It’s all so confusing.
