The wife of the late Abuakwa North member of parliament (MP), Ivy Heward Mills, has filed a suit against Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong and eight others for what she believes is defamation of her character.
This follows recent claims made by Kennedy Agyapong over the widow dating the investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The maverick MP made the allegations as the country and the rest of Africa was gearing up for the release of Anas’ ‘Number 12’ investigative documentary.
Also named in the lawsuit are Kennedy Agyapong’s Kencity Media, Despite Group Limited, Multimedia Group Limited and the EIB Group.
Meanwhile, the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has been invited by the police over the death of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
