Globally recognized singer and performer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name, Wizkid continues his rapid rise to the top of African music royalty.

The highly rated Nigerian musician, s ongwriter and entertainer has set a new record on the Billboard Charts making him the first and only African artiste to achieve the enviable feat.

The Starboy Entertaiment headline act, Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album which was released on Friday, October 30, 2020o has spend a total of 100 weeks on Billboard World Albums Chart.

This feat makes Wizkid the only African artist in history to to attain such height. The album which previously peaked at number 1 on the chart currently sits at the 11th position on the chart as of Monday, October 10, 2022.

On the Billboard World Albums chart, Asake’s ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ holds the 5th position after spending a total of 5 weeks peaking at number 2. Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ sits at number 4 after peaked at number 2 and also spending 14 weeks.

MEANWHILE: Controversial Nigerian musician and entertainer, Habeeb Okikiola, known within the showbiz circles as Portable has gotten himself another tattoo on his face.

As photos of his new body ink hit online, netizens have stormed social media to react to the new face tattoos of the ‘Zazu Zeh’ hit-maker. Afrobeats superstar, Davido has also reacted to Portable’s tattoos.

Taking to his verified Instagram page (Insta-story) on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Davido shared a photo showing Portable’s tattoo stating that, he (Portable) shows his tattoos and doesn’t care about what people have to say about it.

He wrote; “Zazu show ur tatoo …… Bruh don’t give AF 😂😂😂😂 KALA”. Davido’s comment comes after mixed reactions had trailed the singer’s new face tattoos. See screenshot below.
