Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun who is known as Wizkid has his recent concert in London.

The concert was held at the O2 Arena and it was attended by a mammoth crowd as the venue was fully packed.

There is a latest development and this development surrounds the fact that a ticket reseller sold the tickets he bought initially for a whopping £2,000 per ticket.

This was revealed in a recent post made on Twitter and the post reads;

“Wizkid’s O2 tickets were being sold for as much as £2,000 per ticket by a reseller.

He made £100,000 just from selling some Wizkid tickets he hurriedly bought before the 20,000 tickets sold out in 12 minutes.”

In other news, Wizkid’s monster hit ‘Essence’ which features Tems has won the award as the track was adjudged the Collaboration of the Year at the show which went down live at the historic Apollo Theater in New York City on Sunday, November 28, 2021. Starboy and Tems were each nominated for 5 awards respectively at the prestigious award ceremony.

Wizkid was nominated for Album of the Year with Made in Lagos while Tems was nominated for the Best New Artist award.

The duo was also jointly nominated for the Song of The Year, Video of The Year, The Ashford and Simpson songwriter’s award, and Best Collaboration for Essence, which they eventually won.
