Nigerian musician, Mr Eazi definitely knows how it feels to be an up-and-coming artiste. The Leg Over crooner had a tough journey before hitting stardom, being once rejected by Ghanaian rapper D-Black when he desperately wanted someone to sign him.

He is one of the biggest stars on the African continent now, in order to elevate those who yet to make into mainstream, the singer, through his yet-to-launch Eazi Sound Foundation, has pledged $100,000 for emerging African artistes registered to vote.

He said only artistes registered to vote will be eligible to the fund. “Eazi Sound Foundation launches 1st August & we have set aside $100,000 for African Emerging artists,” he wrote on Instagram.

“No 1 criteria is you must be registered to vote in your country!” Ahead of the 2019 election in Nigeria, the youth have been encouraged to register for their permanent voter cards (PVC) in order to exercise their franchise.
