Popular young Ghanaian award-winning rapper. Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, affectionately known as Yaw Tog claims he felt pressured to quickly adapt to the language spoken by the people of the United Kingdom upon his visit.

Yaw Tog after just one week of visiting the United Kingdom quickly let go of his mother tongue and adapted to speaking the English language like a UK-born citizen. He threw a lot of Ghanaians into a state of shock after quickly adjusting to the foreign slang in just a week.

Speaking in an interview with NY DJ on BTM Afrika, Yaw Tog stated that he felt pressured to learn the language because almost everyone he interacted with including Ghanaian citizens who were based in t he UK was speaking like citizens born in the country.

The “Sei Mu” hitmaker intimated that he would have disgraced himself if he was the odd one out of the people he met in the UK if he was to speak Twi with them so, therefore. he advised himself to adapt to their way of life especially ther=ir language.

Away from that, Ghanaian social media icon, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger could not hold back her tears while mourning her late father at his one-week observation.

This comes barely two weeks after Afia Schwarzenegger took to her social media to announce the death of her father, Mr. Augustine Kojo Agyei. Her announcement meted mixed reactions on social media as many expressed their condolences to her on her loss.

Some of her celebrity friends like Tracey Boakye, Diamond Appiah, Kwaw Kese, and others also stormed her premises to pay their tribute to Afia’s dad as they mourn with her.
