Senegalese born American singer Akon seems to have been impressed with the state of the nation’s socio economy since landing in Ghana yesterday in the afternoon.
Legally named Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam, Akon after being fascinated by Ghana’s development from all sectors of the economy quizzed Africans in what seems to be a personal assessment of one’s country measuring from what is happening in Ghana alone.
Akon who is Ghana for the Year of Return initiative championed by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), the ‘Lonely’ hitmaker praised President Akufo Addo for a good job done even after three years of ascending the throne.
Mostly, Africans and some of their countries fancy living lavish lifestyles and putting up structures that have got no benefits to them and the national coffers.
‘Why can’t Africa be this simple?’ – Akon wrote.
His post might have come as a result of how good and simple the route he used was looking.
