The founder of the infamous Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox (MMM) ponzi scheme won the heart of many Nigerians with his sweet talk on how to make money in a very easy way.

Mavrodi raised a lot of suspicious eyebrows with the sustainability of his scheme as he promised an outrageous 30% per month on payments and other promotion offers.

Over two million people were deceived by the scheme in the hopes of making a lot of money. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) launched an investigation into the scheme’s operations and before they knew it, over 2 million people were signed onto the platform.

The founder of the scheme was paid back in his own coin when he died of Heart attack in a Moscow hospital at the age of 63.
