A social media user is of the view th at Shatta Wale must be penalized just as Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah, the woman from Takoradi who faked her disappearance and pregnancy a few weeks ago.

Recall, Madam Josephine was reported missing with a nine-month-old pregnancy in Takoradi but was later found at Axim without any pregnancy or a baby. Preliminary investigations conducted by the authorities indicated that the woman was not pregnant neither was she kidnapped as speculated on social media.
Similarly, Shatta Wale was also reported to have been shot by some unknown gunmen at East Legon last night. The news was broken by his PR, Nana Dope who stated that Shatta Wale has been admitted to a private hospital receiving treatment while the gunmen are nowhere to be found.
A statement released by Shatta Wale himself on his Facebook page suggests that the entire incident was faked. According to the statement, he is on the run because his life is in danger following a prophecy made by a man of God that he will be shot on that faithful day.
Taking to the comment section under his post, a netizen has stated that the Shatta Wale incident is no different from that of the Takoradi woman on the account that they both caused fear and panic.
U and the Takoradi woman what’s the difference? How were u going to report the Prophet? I don’t think Ghana laws deal with spirituality,I stand to be corrected, why do u cause fear and panic?, she wrote.
