Actress Annie Idibia
has consoled her colleague Ruth Kadiri after lamenting over being ignored or snubbed by Eko Star Film & TV Awards last night.
Ruth Kadiri who wasn’t happy for not receiving an award took to her Instagram page to call out the organizers of the award scheme saying she has been overlooked despite all the hard work she puts in her job as an actress and filmmaker.
According to Ruth Kadiri, she will not be pressured by them for overlooking her hard work even though her name popped she was still snubbed because she doesn’t belong to a click but rather work hard as she has always been doing.
Adding that the film industry is being controlled by women therefore if they want to appreciate women for their hard work, they should do it right or never do it at all and not ignore some key players of the industry such as herself.

Her colleague Annie Idibia reacting to that consoled her saying she’s a star and those behind the scene sees how incredible and amazing she is, therefore, she can’t be ignored in any way praying the universe to be in her favor.
This all boils down to the advice Toke Makinwa gave earlier that even if no one awards you, award yourself and if they don’t celebrate you, you celebrate yourself because you know your story better than anyone and how far you have come as well.
