Lynx Entertainment signee, Eugene Kwame Marfo, better known as Kuami Eugene in his earlier Facebook live video where he lambasted his fellow Ghanaian musicians for not supporting each other, he also said that if you hate his “Wele S3b3 Kontomire” lyrics in his “Open Gate” song, you are cursing yourself.

The musician expressed his displeasure on why critics condemn his hard work but are secretly enjoying whatever he puts out there.
In his video, he said that people are really curing themselves when they condemn his “Open Gate” song but always jam to it wherever it is being played.
Well, I personally understand his rage because ever since he came to the spotlight, Kuami Eugene has become the center of public ridicule for every step he takes. He has been trolled on many occasions for sampling other musicians’ songs and not being the originator of most of his songs.
On the back of that, he has come under severe criticism for winning the the ‘Artiste Of The Year” award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. Many of his critics still do not understand how an artiste with a song that has a line as “wele-sɛbɛ-kontomire’ could win an award.
Kuami Eugene seems to be deeply hurt by how he is being treated in the industry.
