Salihu Lukman, the director-general of PGF has expressed concern over the crisis happening in the APC with Buhari’s silence over the issue.

APC crisis escalated when the party’s screening committee disqualified Governor Godwin Obaseki from participating in the primary which has called for the Governor to resign from the party.

Following the crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the director-general of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), Salihu Lukman, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to make good decisions to spot the havoc in order to secure his legacy

Lukman said what makes the situation more frustrating is the silence and inactivity of President Buhari in the face of what obviously could damage the legacy he has worked for during his political life.

PGF DG released a memo which contained the statements and was made available to newsmen in Abuja, on Thursday.

“While we must celebrate the fact that his leadership style is required to ensure that the party is managed independently and therefore made possible for the exercise of the supremacy of the party based on decisions of organs, ‘old ambition-Virus 2023’ may have weakened the capacity of the party to benefit from the commendable leadership approach of President Buhari.” he said.
