The Shatta Wale vrs Wizkid and the whole of Nigeria fracas is still ongoing. Shatta Wale thought Samini would support him but he had the shock of his life when the latter deserted him.

The ‘cold war’ started when Shatta Wale bemoaned the over-hyping of Nigerian artistes at the expense of their Ghanaian counterpart especially, Wizkid.
He said:
I will not see Wizkid and be stunned, I rather want him to see me and be amazed because I don’t see anything extraordinary about him, even though he claims to the best African artiste
In a series of tweets between Samini and Shatta Wale, the former proverbially jabbed his colleague, suggesting that he should be humble.
