Nollywood actor cum politician, Yul Edochie in a recent social media post has aired his views about his father, Pete Edochie’s recent comments about men kneeling to propose to their fiancees.
Some few days ago, Pete Edochie was captured in a viral video blasting men who get on their knees to propose to their partners.
In his view, that particular act is not part of African culture and it confers authority on the wife as the head of the house, instead of the man.
His son, Yul Edochie, in a recent post on Twitter, reacted to his father’s comments as he retweeted a meme showing his father supposedly behind a man slightly bent.
The meme read:
“When you are about to kneel down to propose and you see Pete Edochie behind you.”
