Ghanaian movie producer and actress, Yvonne Nelson has told Andy Dosty in an exclusive interview on Hitz FM why ladies seem to get more movie roles than guys.
The lanky and sekzy actress, who proudly bears the moniker Yaa Asantewaa owing to the famous Dumsor demonstration she masterminded under the erstwhile government under the tutelage of John Dramani Mahama, also talked about other aspects of the movie industry.
On nudity, Yvonne said it’s wrong for actress to show too much skin in movies just to trend. She was of the view that although many of the actresses know the repercussions of their actions, they still indulge in it because aptly supported by the power of social media, they will trend and get all the likes to augment their punitive ego.
Yvonne suggested that ladies get more movie roles because of sekzual exploitation which is very rampant in the movie industry although it’s not limited to the industry alone as she mentioned that the same thing permeates the banking sector, within the political circles and other organisations.
