A slay queen is simply a young gold digger who is active on social media and pretends to afford a lavish partying lifestyle. Mona Gucci named Yvonne Nelson as one of the slay queens in Ghana but the comment of Mona did not go down well with Yvonne who in return asked Mona to retract and apologize to her but refused.

“Yvonne doesn’t show off, but she is a slay because you know the slay queen it entails a lot, we have both showing off and some contacts and people who we know that the things that you do and the lifestyle you exhibit, someone is paying for you behind the scenes,” she said on Neat FM.

Reports say that after Mona Gucci was sued by Yvonne Nelson, she never appeared in court. The court has stated that Mona Gucci was being evasive when she was served the write of summons.
