AC Milan have announced that their striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for coronavirus.

The announcement comes hours to Milan’s Europa League third qualifying round clash against Norwegian side FK Bodo/Glimt. He will thus miss the game as he is self-isolating at home.

Ibrahimovic has scored three goals in Milan’s first two games of the season. Before the start of the season, he signed a one-year contract.
