As we all know, Sadio Mane emerged the Best African Player for 2019 after beating Liverpool teammate Mohammed Salah and Manchester City’s forward Rihad Mahrez in a ceremony held held at the Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh Resort in Hurghada, Egypt on Tuesday.

His well deserved crown sees him becoming the second Senegalese player to win the coveted award after El Hadji Diouf.

The night wasn’t only for Sadio Mane. There were other awards for individual players and national teams.
