The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on January 9 in Cameroon. The tournament which was initially scheduled to be played in 2021 was postponed to 2022 due the global pandemic (COVID-19).

The 33rd edition, known as the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons has a total of twenty-four (24) teams qualified including Cameroon who qualified automatically as the host Nation.

The 24 teams are grouped into 6 (Group A-F), with each group housing 4 teams. All participating teams have submitted their final 28-man squads. Group A is made of Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia and Cape Verde.
