Ebenezer Atta Amoh, a 31-year-old man has reportedly met his untimely death after a building collapsed on him while he was asleep. The incident was said to have happened at Bibiani in the Western North Region of Ghana when part of the building collapsed on him while he was fast asleep.

According to Assemblyman in the area, Zakari Mubarak it took them quite a long time before they noticed that someone was trapped under the building. Amoh was said to have been bedridden and due to the incessant rains, the foundation of the building weakened.
The victim’s father who was also involved in the tragedy was said to have gone dumb after he was rescued from under the rubble so he could not open up on time that his son was also trapped under the rubble.
Amoh was quickly pulled out and transported to the Bibiani Government Hospital. He was, however, pronounced dead on arrival by the medical officers.
Mr. Zakari has urged the residents to adapt to the renovation of their buildings to avoid unforeseen calamities as the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Bibiani Morgue for autopsy and preservation.
In other news, Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo has disclosed that she was subjected to a lot of misfortunes and death threats when she joined the online #FixTheCountry to demonstrate against the bad governance of the Akufo Addo-led government.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM with Halifax Ansah Addo, Efia Odo revealed that she did not join the campaign against any political party but rather draw the attention of the government to critical issues facing the country.
