The Weija Police Command has reportedly apprehended four suspected armed robbers who allegedly broke into the residence of their victims at Ajasco Red Top, Kokrobite, and made away with their personal effects on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Benjamin Otoo alias Dada Joe, Tony Mensah Yedu alias Big Joe, Bismark Asabree alias Dagbano, and Nana Yaw Arko are the suspects who allegedly broke into their victims’ homes and took their three laptops, an iPhone 8 plus, three Infinix cellphones, and a Techno Cammon 7.
Other items included a Bluetooth speaker, an extension board, three phone chargers, and two laptop chargers, as well as an undisclosed sum of money.
According to the police, after receiving the robbery complaint, the Weija Police Command launched a special 8-hour covert operation on Saturday, November 20, 2021, which led to the arrest of Benjamin Otoo, Tony Mensah Yedu, and Bismark Asabree at their hideouts at Ajasco Red Top and New Aplaku.
Suspect Bismark Asabree later led the police to suspect Nana Yaw Arko’s hideout in Labadi, where he was arrested. A search of them yielded 20 different phones, a taxi car, three computers, one motorcycle, one locally built weapon, a Police vest, one Gota, and 14 different wristwatches.
Meanwhile, the four suspects will be appearing before the court today as the police commence further investigations to apprehend other accomplices of the crime.
