Kazbekov had one assist in 12 games for London this season. Last season, he had one goal in nine games.

The Knights and OHL announced that London’s game against the Flint Firebirds on Saturday night had been canceled.

The league also announced the cancellation of two other games, between the Erie Otters and the Saginaw Spirit, and between the Kingston Frontenacs and the Peterborough Petes, due to the sensitivity of individuals involved in the games who were close to Kazbekov.

So far this season, Abakar Kazbekov has registered one assist in twelve (12) appearances for his team, and due to his death, Saturday’s game against the Flint Firebirds has been postponed.
