An unfortunate accident on Akosombo High way has claimed seven persons to leave their life to the ghost as a speeding Sprinter Bus rammed into Faulty Tipper Truck.
The bus with registration number GN 8209-15 was carrying 16 passengers and the faulty stationery Tipper Truck with Registration Number GN 2064-14 at Kpong.

The incident which happened on New Year’s Eve at Kpong of the Akosombo to Tema Highway had seven passengers who died on the spot and the remaining with various degree of injuries.
The remaining nine passengers who sustained life-threatening Injuries were rushed to St. Martins de Porres Hospital.

The police and National Fire service personnel rushed to the scene to move victims to the hospital.
