Black Stars and Newcastle United winger, Christian Atsu has some time now turned aid agent as he has been helping the poor and the needy as the Bible demands.

It would be recalled that he has helped people get out of prison. His recent action was to give a widow with five kids a place to lay their heads and a shop she and her children can use to fend for themselves.

His current philanthropic exercise was to donate GHS 30,000 to Crime Check Foundation a social justice body committed to prison reforms and helping ex-cons reintegrate into society.

The donation by the Newcastle United midfielder was in support of a new initiative, Ex-convicts Reintegration Project, that would see CCF provide employable training and even employment to ex low-level offenders.

Atsu confirmed this via social media after the reintegration project launch.

Takinf to his Twitter handle, he tweeted, “Today, I visited Crime Check Foundation to launch the Ex-convicts Reintegration Project. We are believing the government to pass into law, The Non-Custodial Sentencing Bill.”
