Evangelist Richard Kwamena Agyensem Prah, an NDC candidate for the Nhyiaeso constituency in the 2020 elections, has claimed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s deeds convinces him to doubt his belief in God.
The president’s claim that he is praying to God for a better future and prosperity for the nation’s economy is ironic given that he has presided over the misery for Ghanaians.
On EIB Networks’ Ultimate 106.9 FM in Kumasi, the Evangelist/cum politician discussed the recent tariff increases by the PURC and the hardships faced by Ghanaians. He remarked Nana is merely cruel and unconcerned with the welfare of the country’s citizens.

‘‘I do not know the God the president is talking about that he believes in, let us understand also that there are so many gods that also exist too. I don’t think the president believes in the God that I serve, JESUS CHRIST, he does the opposite of what God and the bible says’’
‘’Scripture says we should be kind, merciful, good etc and we have a president who does not believe in these things, what kind of leader is that, is that good fearing’’ he questioned.
‘‘His actions don’t portray someone who believes in God’’
‘‘Forget about the cathedral he is building, it is not with the heart of God that I can tell you. No wonder people are against it’’ he said.
‘‘The hypocritical so-called men of God are the only people supporting it, they are not talking, there is too much hypocrisy in the church’’

According to evangelist Prah, Ghana’s current president Akufo-Addo would go down in history as the worst leader ever.
‘‘President Akufo Addo is the worst performing leader ever, no one will come even after him. I am telling you, trust me’’
‘‘Put all those who came by coup, put them together President Akufo-Addo is worse of them all, in terms of leadership and I can see in the future will remain worse of all’’
‘‘Ghanaians have learnt a bitter lesson, Dr. Nyaho Temaklo said it, he is a founding member of the NPP, he said we will experience a bitter leadership and we are seeing it, two years more to go with this bad leadership’’ he stressed.
