The Vice President of the Republic,Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that government has made GHS200,000 available for the victims of Akyem Batabi Church collapse.
According to Dr Bawumia government is committed to help affected victims of the collapse of the Church of Prosperity building at Akyem Batabi in the Asene Manso Akroso District in the Eastern Region.

“This donation is just for starters, and then we shall see the way forward. The DCE shall oversee the sharing of the money,” Dr. Bawumia said.
The Church collapse have seen about 22 people loosing their lives after the rescue mission completed their search last week.
