Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang’s appointment as the running mate of John Dramani Mahama in the build to the forthcoming elections continues to dominate social and mainstream media discourse.

A leading member of the party, Dela Coffie who has clearly not been in favour of Naana’s appointment has hit back at those who once criticized Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, wife of former military ruler cum democratically elected President, JJ Rawlings when she once expressed her willingness to contest for the presidency.

On the back of those hailing Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang’s appointment as a big win for women empowerment, Dela Coffie differed as he claims he’s at loss as to why people shaded Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings on the same wavelength.
