Italian soccer legend, Andrea Pirlo has been named the head coach of his former side, Juventus.

This comes after the dismissal of Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri who was sacked after failing to guide Juventus to the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League.

This was revealed by the club in a recent statement which reads;

““Today’s choice is based on the belief that Pirlo has what it takes to lead from his debut on the bench, an expert and talented squad to pursue new successes.”
