A group of angry men and women stormed the premises of TV3- a giant private TV station in Ghana to register their displeasure at the handlers of the station for broadcasting a ‘gay programme.’

Berla Mundi hosted three Ghanaians who belong to the LGBT community on her programme ‘New Day.’ In a pre-recorded video of the show, Berla Mundi is seen interviewing three members of the LBGTQ community namely Angela Nana Yaa Boateng (transgender), Moses K. Nana Bentil (gay ) and Akwesi Kardashian(gay).

This generated a huge uproar amongst viewers, some of whom stormed the station to perhaps halt the programme and fire the mamangeent for defying the moral fibre of Ghanaians by enetertainning the trio.

An employee of Media General shared this information on her Twitter platform. She wrote: “A group of people actually stormed to TV3 this afternoon to demand that we go off air because we spoke about issues facing transgendered people.”
