The alumni of Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (Presec Legon) have disclosed that they will petition Primetime, organizers of National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) over some unfair treatment they recognized at the just ended finale.

In a report first shared by YEN.com.gh, it emerged the petition is going to be led by business mogul, Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong who is the Global President of the Ɔdadeɛ Alumni and Mentorship Centre,

A communique has been released to this effect and amongst others, the angry Legon old boys said they were treated unfairly at the grand finale which made them lose the first position slot to Prempeh College.

According to the Communique issued, their decision was taken with one voice in the course of a meeting on Tuesday between the Ɔdadeɛ alumni and the handlers of NSMQ.

Meanwhile, amidst the high adrenaline characterizing the National Maths and Science Quiz in recent times, Quiz mistress Dr. Elsie Kauffman has revealed the dark side of hosting the show.

While in the studios of Kessben FM which also streamed on the TV version (Kessben TV), the indefatigable poster lady of the prestigious program said she received multiple threats from unknown people ahead of the grand finale of this year’s show.

Predictably the potpourri of suspense, disappointment expectations, and other emotions which skyrocketed compelled some people to put fear in Elsie before, and the program which was eventually won by Prempeh College ended.
