There will be three days of national mourning in Argentina following the passing of Diego Maradona.

Argentina government declared on Wednesday, November 25, few hours after the football legend died.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, Maradona died in his native country on Wednesday.

It is reported that the 1986 World Cup winner died after he suffered cardiac arrest.

Uefa have also announced that a minute of silence will be observed, Wednesday evening and Thursday evening, during the various matches of the Champions League and the Europa League.
