Arsenal defender Rob Holding has signed a new long-term contract with the Premier League club.

He signed a contract which will keep at Arsenal until 2024.

Holding came close to leaving the Gunners last summer but has been rewarded for his consistency so far this season. He has made 16 starts in all competitions.

Manager Mikel Arteta says he has been “hugely impressed” by Holding’s contribution “on and off the pitch”.

Holding joined Arsenal from Bolton in 2016 and the new deal includes an option for a further year.
