We have chanced upon a report that revealed the whopping amount of money English football club, Arsenal will pocket if they decide to let their midfield dynamo, Thomas Partey play for Ghana at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The report, according to GhanaSoccerNet, stated that Arsenal will receive not less than £6,460-per-day when they release Thomas Partey for the World Cup in Qatar.
This means that the longer the player stays at the World Cup, the more money the club will make and this was made known after it was revealed that a whopping $209 million will be shared among the clubs releasing players to the participating teams in the 2022 World Cup.
The Black Stars of Ghana have been drawn in the same group with former European Champions, Portugal, South American giants, Uruguay and South Korea. The team will be playing Portugal in their first match with their second match being against South Korea before finishing it off with Uruguay.
Ghana will be looking forward to making it past the group stage and probably improving on their 2010 success where they made it to the quarter-finals.
This is the fourth time Ghana has qualified for the Mundial and it was such an ecstatic moment when the Black Stars qualified.
