According to a report by docupdates.com, the senior national team, Ghana Black Stars have been offered $30,000 for each player if they secure three points in their final group match against Comoros in the ongoing African Cup of Nations 2021 (AFCON).

Milovan Rajevac, the coach, will also get double the qualifying bonus for the defeat to Morocco and the tie with Gabon, bringing the total to $900,000.

Ghana’s chances of progressing to the next round of the current tournament look dim after a setback to Morocco and a point from a draw with Gabon.

Prior to the commencement of the AFCON, Mustapha Ussif, the Minister for Youth and Sports, said that the Black Stars will need $25 million for the AFCON 2022 and World Cup campaigns.

This was disclosed at a breakfast meeting between Corporate Ghana and the CEOs of state-owned enterprises. At the Jubilee House meeting, these institutions discussed ways to collect funding for the Black for the competitions in which Ghana is now struggling.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian traditional and fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has said that the only condition under which the senior national team, Black Stars will emerge victorious in their clash against Gabon in the AFCON 2022 tournament is when one of the Ayew brothers is dropped from the starting line-up.

Kweku Bonsam indicated that he is a great fan of the Ayew brothers, Andre Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew but spiritually, they are not supposed to start the game together.
