Black Stars player Christian Atsu has been left completely sad following the death of his mother.
Atsu, who plays for Newcastle United, lost his mother on Saturday. He made the announcement on his official Twitter page.
He wrote: “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure as you left us today #RIPMum”
Atsu did not disclose the cause of his mother’s death.
