The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) have suspended Patrick Allotey for six months after being found guilty of misconduct.
The charge of misconduct for which WBO Africa Super Bantamweight champion has been sanctioned relates to him assaulting a football fan at the Accra Sports last month.
Allotey beat up the fan who has been identified as Micheal Siaw during the Ghana Premier League top-linear between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
