The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his update address about the confirmation of four new cases of Coronavirus in Ghana has indicated that all school activities in the country have been suspended.

The president indicated that the move has become very necessary has the government put in efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.

This means all universities, senior high schools and basic schools are to shut down with effect from Monday, March 16 2020.

However, he further added that final year students both JHS & SHS who are preparing to write their final examinations will be made to attend school.
