Per the reports, these two people are currently responding to treatment as they have been receiving treatment for some days now.
Sources claim that one of the policemen who contracted the disease was on escort duties to the Upper East Region and he contracted the virus when he got exposed to a patient.
The other policeman also contracted the virus when he was returning to his duty post in the same region after some holidays.
A report cited by MyNewsGh suggests that these two policemen were identified through contact tracing and when they tested positive, they showed mild signs and symptoms.
This comes after reports broke out that the IGP has ordered that about 10,000 police personnel who took part in the lockdown enforcement should be tested.
